I backed this project from the beginning. I am surprised at how flimsy the box is and the components just feel cheap. The molded plastic boards are thin and connect by just laying them on top of each other with no attaching mechanism. You will be re-aligning them every time they get bumped. They don't even lay flat on a table. Vulkar could have been painted to look awesome instead a being a gray hunk of plastic. The board art is bland and has a ridiculous shine to it, looks way inferior to the 1986 version. I thought everything would be of higher quality given the price and how many extra millions of funds they racked in. Even my heavily played 32 year old game feels more durable and is certainly more epic to look at. Restoration games had the chance to knock this game out of the park but wowzers they fell short.
