***UPDATED*** Oct. 20, 2018 Have been in contact with the company. They gave a couple things to try -- none of which worked. My husband ended up figuring out what was wrong. The clamps were wired BACKWARDS!!! After forwarding several pictures of proof of this the company did send replacement clamps. We have yet to try them out since we just received them yesterday. Will update shortly. I ordered this NOCO Genius Boost Plus GB40 1000 Amp 12V UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starter on July 28th and received it on July 31. Immediately we charged it up so that it was ready in case we needed it. Sept. 14 I went to start my car and the battery was dead. My husband pulled this booster pack out and hooked it up and..... NOTHING! This booster pack did NOT work. The little light next to the "Boost +" was not lighting up and the directions said that it should be lit up. I know the pack was at 100% charged because the light was lit up for that. We tried several times and NOTHING! Eventually we ended up jump starting my car with another car and it started right up. We even took in my car's battery to make sure that it wasn't the battery that was messed up and it wasn't. My car battery is just fine. This booster pack DID NOT work and is junk. $105.88 is ALOT of money for us and now all we have is a product that DOESN'T WORK!!! ****Thankfully I was at home when my car wouldn't start and not in a dark parking lot by myself.***** I tried contacting the company and asked for either a replacement or refund. I thought it was a reasonable request since it had only been about 45 days since I bought the booster pack and then found out it was junk and it did not do what they claimed and didn't work at all. BUT as of today (Sept. 20) I have not heard back from them.
