I've had these for almost a year now ...Soon after they were installed I had to knock down a newly constructed nest amongst the spikes. Fast forward to now, I thought we were good so far this year, but Nope! ...& Let me say that these birds work FAST! There literally was NO signs of a nest in the morning ...within HOURS, a FULL NEST & AN EGG! 🐣 (...Ok, I didn't know there was an egg in the nest when I removed it ...& it promptly ended up on the ground 🙈!) ...So within an hour of the nest being removed, a NEW Egg was laid amongst the spikes themselves ...I'm thinking these spikes are a good base structure for these fast working birds! ...I guess I'm back at square one for finding a way to deter these birds! 😏 ***UPDATE: Last 2 pics 6/4/19 ...the search continues 😫
