I purchased this e-book after reading all of the glowing recommendations on Amazon. I don't even know if I was reading the same book as the reviewers because I found this to be barely worth one star. Seriously, was this book written as a tenth grade English assignment? "Flat-Out Love" is completely formulaic. By page 20 I knew exactly how each character would develop, how the plot would flow, and had figured out the "surprise" plot twist. The dialogue is so stiff and formal ... and doesn't sound like it could have come from the lips of a 20-year-old. The use of Facebook posts, while cute at first, became annoying after pages and pages of messages. My advice is to skip this and re-read one of the Shopaholic novels if you want an interesting chick-lit read.
