Someone else wrote this before but I thought it was a rare exception. I was WRONG! I first noticed that there was some curled up plastic (?) threads. I should have submitted a complaint then but stupidly kept using it until to day (one day after return was possible - sigh...) The shredded plastic almost ruined my blender by getting stuck around the mechanism under the blades. It was very difficult to remove all. I was lucky that I managed to get them out. I'm also concerned how much I already swallowed the plastic!! I have to throw the 5lbs bag out. I will never buy this product or anything else from them.
