Originally when I reviewed this product, I thought that the seeds were sprouting really well. What I didn't realise is the amount of unsprouted seeds when I mixed them up. So the first picture is in my sprouting jar - you can see a lot of dark brown mixed in with the sprouts. Second picture, I emptied the sprouting jar into a bowl to give them a good wash and many of the unsprouted seeds floated to the top. The third picture, is when the seeds were ready to be packaged about one week after starting sprouting - I had to try to separate the unsprouted seeds from the sprouts. The black pile is the unsprouted seeds and the green pile is the sprouts. This was initially made from 6 tbsp of seeds. I figure at least 40% did not sprout. I don't mind paying premium pricing for organic seeds, but when only half of them sprout - it isn't good. Does anyone know of a company that sells organic seeds in bulk that actually do sprout significantly better? My mom has cancer, and we are using the sprouts in smoothies, so we use a lot in a day. We can't afford a 50% sprout rate. Thanks Darlene PS UPDATE ON CUSTOMER CARE: Don't ever ever buy from this company!!!! I emailed their customer care, sending them the pictures of 50% unsprouted seeds from my batch of sprouts. They emailed back asking for the batch number. I sent them a photo of the batch number. They emailed back apologising, but they were fully aware that that particular batch was not sprouting properly. They would give me a refund if I sent back the product to them ($60 shipping for two bags of seeds from Canada) but they would not replace the bags AS THEY HAD NO OTHER BATCHES EXECPT THIS FAULTY BATCH!!!!! I was horrified that they would knowingly sell product to customers that they knew had serious sprouting issues. Knowingly!!!!
