I honestly cannot comprehend how this can opener has so many good reviews because I truly despise it. Like with a deep down passion, I hate the thing. Maybe I just received a lemon, but nothing about this can opener seems efficient or user-friendly to me. For further clarification... It is difficult to attach to any can. It is not only hard to turn the handle, but the handle must be turned opposite of what feels natural. It shreds labels and leaves shards of the shredded paper in the can’s contents. It shreds pieces of the actual can and also leaves those shards in the can’s contents. After you finally get the can fully open (which seems to take an exceptionally long time), it is difficult to remove the “lid” of the can from the can opener, so you always end up with dirty hands.
