WARNING WARNING WARNING
I did some research before purchasing this product SPECIFICALLY to make sure this product WAS NOT manufactured in Thailand. I was informed that Rachael Ray's pet foods are manufactured and processed in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Cat foods processed and shipped to the USA have been making cats very ill. In fact, my research revealed 95% of ALL CAT FOOD has now been turned over to Thailand to process, and thus the reason so many cat food labels are being changed from what you are used to seeing. That said, I felt confident that this product was manufactured here in the USA PLUS Rachael Ray products can be trusted, right? WRONG!! I received my order of Nutrish Purrfect Broths today and to my amazement what was printed on the side of the box? PRODUCT OF THAILAND! Grrrrr. Not only that, she has had recalls on her pet food. SHAME ON YOU RACHAEL RAY!! Do not purchase any cat food processed in Thailand! Do your research! Even reviews here on Amazon testify that #1 Cat food coming from Thailand has made cats sick and #2 People are noticing their usual cans of cat food have new labels AND SINCE -- their cats are refusing to eat what they use to love. This is with several brands. Read up. Investigate. Do your research. There are companies that process their cat food in the USA. RECALL:
In August 2018, a consumer filed a $5 million lawsuit against Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, alleging that Nutrish contains an undisclosed dangerous herbicide called glyphosate, “a potent biocide and endocrine disruptor, with detrimental health effects that are still becoming known.”
The suit states, “Rachael Ray Nutrish holds itself out to the public as a trusted expert in the sourcing and processing of dog food,” adding that the company “also knew … that [its food] contains glyphosate, an unnatural biocide.”
