Bought this cover on May 20th 2018. Arrived as expected, seemingly nothing wrong. Put this cover on our Mattress in September 2018. It has now been about 6 months since we put this cover on. Nothing has changed with our bedding situation except this cover. This morning we noticed a strange seep-stain coming from underneath, as seen in the pictures. No spills, no bed wetting, nothing to explain it. When we lifted the Mattress we found that our fabric covered bed board is literally rotting underneath us. These covers do not allow anything to breath, so we suspect that moisture from the air has been wicking in causing mold and mildew to run rampant between the bed board and the Mattress cover.... Absolutely disgusting. Hopefully our mattress inside the cover isn't ruined like the outside is ... This mattress is only a few years old, nothing was wrong with anything until we started using this cover. Makes me wonder about all those kids blamed for bed wetting and ruining mattresses in these reviews... they may have gotten in trouble for something that was actually the covers fault.... something about these covers is not right.
