August 2019 - NOT WORKING!! So this is my second ice maker (had a Costway). It's okay. I'm a special education teacher and there are many things I have to consider when bringing appliances... NOISE is one. This machine is kind of loud - sucking up water, the fan, and dropping the ice. The other issue I've had is that I've had to reset it/pushed on-off button several times because it didn't sense the water and the lack of ice. The add water button came on and after I added water and waited minutes it still hadn't made new ice, pushed the on/off button and we were fine. Sometimes the ice fall and stacks up, the sensor picks it up and won't make more. I'll scoot it away from the sensor or take some out and so it should start making more. I've had to push the on/off button 2 times already in order for it to start making more. Not a big deal but I don't feel I should have to especially because it was a little over $100. Not saying that I don't recommend it but surely there's a quieter one....
