I purchased two bags in March, with a freshness date of last November. Both bags were complete duds, with almost no growth. Even though weather was mild and the seed was kept moist. It was especially disappointing because I had more than 15 hours work detaching and aerating the lawn prior. Even more disappointing is the fact that I asked Scotts to honor their money back guarantee for just one of the bags and never received their promised check. Months later I called Scotts again and they said they would immediately send out another check, which also never came. I will never buy their product again.
