Save your money and just vacuum manually......or buy a better robot.
I have an in ground pool 3,5,7 feet deep. Mini pebble interior. It misses spots that are obvious with the dust that blows into the pool. It doesn't climb walls well. I've watched it go around and in some spots it cleans great, in others not so much. My biggest problem is the cord constantly tangles. Every other day I un plug it and straighten the cord. If the cord tangles it limits the robot's range and I've seen it get pulled back and then just turn around and neglect that section. I'd buy a vacuum and just clean the pool manually. Save the money it doesn't do a good enough job to warrant the purchase.
Update: I’ve had this product for a year and it is garbage. It doesn’t clean the shallow end of my pool anymore and does a poor job cleaning everywhere else. The filter basket has a rip in it now and it’s $60 for a new one. The cord is deteriorating now. The control box is now just flashing and the robot no longer runs, so for almost $600 it lasted 2 years. This thing is the biggest rip off. I wish I never would’ve bought it. My pool is dirty all the time. I’m going to switch to a manual vacuum and beat this thing to death with a hammer.
