This review is for the single piece ends, not the ends with the hood. Everything about them is perfect...except they don't latch in to the ports. Believe the other reviewers. I figured maybe other buyers were just doing something incorrect. I have experience terminating my own cables and knew I would have better results. I was wrong and now regret this purchase. After terminating a couple ends I had trouble getting them to reliably latch in various ports on various devices. Getting these ended up costing me more time and money. I purchased the Ideal branded ends and after terminating my first cable the ends clicked in to any port with no problem. I then compared these single piece ends to the Ideal ends side-by-side and realized the latches on these were noticeably thinner and didn't stick out as far. So as for the ends with no hood, I would say avoid them and move on. Unfortunately I'm outside the return window otherwise I'd try to return them.
