I would have rated this item’s performance higher but for two problems. First, as can be seen in the photo, the shaft upon which the Triple Bristle brush head fits is made of plastic, rather brittle plastic. After less than 5 months use the shaft broke during normal use rendering the brush unusable. Secondly, Triple Bristle’s customer service appears to be “service” in name only. Since filing a warranty claim in March I have received little more than a cursory acknowledgment plus a request for more information. Though I promptly provided the information and have repeatedly sought an answer to my claim, Triple Bristle has remained silent. Not even the pretense of a response. Conversely, I have received very good performance and excellent customer service from the competition. Although the problem differed, Philips Sonicare quickly reviewed my issue and replaced the brush. Customer service that actually means customer service.
