I had another Remington dryer that finally died after 5 years of daily use. This one seemed similar so I thought I'd give it a try. It is lighter than the one I had before, which is nice. I noticed it doesn't get as hot as my old one though, even when I turn it to the highest heat setting. My hair is fine and wavy/curly so that actually works out for me. I use the diffuser attachment and it snapped onto the end of the dryer with a satisfying click. It seems like it will stay on with no issues. The sound isn't too loud. I think it's a fine dryer for the price, but if you have long or thick hair, you might need something a little more powerful. **EDIT: After using this for a week, I decided to order a different dryer. This thing just does not get hot enough. I'm spending a lot more time drying my chin-length hair than I would with my old dryer and I'm still walking about of the bathroom with an almost wet head. The temperature switch does almost nothing between cool, warm, and hot. The low fan speed is too low and high is too much. My hair has been feathery and weird all week. I only spent $11 on this, so I'm going to keep it as a backup dryer.
