Dear Amazon family: I don't always write reviews. If a product is exceptionally good, or exceptionally bad, I'm more likely to review or recommend a product. In this instance I have to write a unique review... One that is Buyer *Beware*... ------------------------------------------------ I Bought After Research And Good Faith ------------------------------------------------ I originally purchased this product in hopes of a pain relief solution that could help me recover faster from exercise training sessions as well as relax with from the stressors of life. After using it, I can honestly say that it failed miserably for me and was not what I expected and felt little to no improvement. Is this Re-athlete's fault? No -- as a health and fitness professional, I know from experience that different modalities work for different people. This is not one that works for me. With that in mind, I urge you to read all the reviews, not just mine and make an educated decision before you buy it. -------------------------------------------- When You Buy -- Try It Immediately -------------------------------------------- Do to life's challenges, my Re-Athlete purchase was put on the back burner. (I take full accountability for this! I even admitted this to Amazon...and now to you the reader!) It was pushed aside, but not forgotten. When light actually emerged, I used this product in good faith after the Re-Athlete 30-day return policy and felt turned off by the customer service response of Re-Athlete. -------------------------------------------------------- I Wish Things Would Have Been Handled Better -------------------------------------------------------- I reached out to Re-Athlete on two different instances as well as Amazon letting them know that I was fully aware that it was after the return policy for this product, let them know that I take accountability for that, but have no use for the product because it did not work for me. I asked them this in hopes of getting an exception because I did not want it anymore. I have even let Re-Athlete know that I do not wish to bash their product. ...And do you know what happened? ---------------------------------------- My Concerns Fell On Deaf Ears ---------------------------------------- Re-athlete cared more that it was after the 30-day return policy then providing me with any solution. I know dealing with other companies in the past, this is not always the case. Some companies may ask a customer: *How can we improve it to make it better? *Can we exchange it for something else? *Can we offer you store credit? Or you're unhappy, how can we make this right?? There only response was it's passed our 30-day window, it's been almost 6 months since you purchased it, and we hope you understand. To me as a customer, I feel that Re-Athlete placed more of a premium on profit then my customer satisfaction as a buyer. I understand business and state in writing that Re-Athlete has their entitlement to handle business anyway that they decide to including as they have up to this point. ---------------------------------- The Big Picture Long-Term ---------------------------------- Re-Athlete has accomplished short-term gain in me as a customer. They have gained my purchase money$, but have lost a potential long-term customer who is glad to spend $ and be loyal to a brand that makes good quality products. With that being said, PLEASE don't make my mistake and put trying your Re-Athlete product on the backburner. Instead, try it immediately because they will not refund or offer you any other solution than it's past the return policy.
