If you buy this, open it immediately! I bought mine in April because it was a good price, but didn't open it until September when it came time to harvest. The back of the unit had a BIG chip taken out of it. I knew my return time had expired so I immediately just super glued the piece back on. The box was in PERFECT condition, so I know it didn't happen in shipping. Then I got over it and moved on. I opened the unit and the top tray was JAMMED between the top and second notch at a diagonal. Luckily I got it out without breaking the tray. I plugged the unit in and it was already turned on which makes me think that this unit had been used, returned and then sold to me. I went to turn off the unit and the timer knob wasn't even on. I fastened it, turned it off and started from scratch. So far (for the last 14 hours) the unit seems to be working, but I'm worried to say the least! I order A LOT off of Amazon and have never had this happen before. I am very upset to get a used machine when I ordered a NEW one. This is an expensive mistake I made by not opening it right away. Don't do the same thing!!!
