I bought late March 2018. Used 1/2 inch drive once. Today started to use 3/8 inch drive and it only will work in one direction no mater which way switch turned. Called Customer Service and they said I had to take to a DeWalt service center to repair under warranty They originally said go to Austin , Texas about 2 hour drive one way. They finally provided telephone number in Ft Worth but nobody answered when I called. Almost all of my shop tools are DeWalt but this is the first time I have tried to use their warranty service. DO NOT BUY if you live away from a big city. I ordered another drive from Amazon but will now quit buying DeWalt products. The replacement cost was less than the one way cost of gas and without the hassle and time.
