This may be a guide to edible wild plants, but it is not landmass specific. So you get to read up on a few edible wild plants in sub-Saharan Africa, even though you live in North America. Unless you plan on doing some epic survival trek in a far away place, don't bother with this book. I was tricked into buying it because it was Army produced, and I've done a survival trek with the military, but this resource was so general it's pretty much useless. Minus stars because I tried to return this book, and UPS never picked up the return. So when I tried to cancel and resubmit for refund, Amazon told me the book was no longer eligible for return.
