Jolly Ranchers gummies are one of my favorite candies out there. I normally buy these locally at Walmart, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I don't want to shop there, and have resorted to finding these online to get my sugary fix. I have not only bought them at Walmart, but Hershey World itself, as I am a couple hundred miles away from Hershey. The ones from Hershey world were obviously the best! I was super stoked when I found this 5lb bag on Amazon. I absolutely love Jolly Ranchers gummies and such a huge bag would last me weeks/months to snak on. Upon my very first bite, though, I hate to say it.... these are *NOT* the same gummies. The ones I normally buy at Walmart as well as the ones I bought from Hershey World itself, they are a thicker and softer texture. You could squeeze them and they'd retake their shape. These ones... they're very flat and very chewy, almost resemebling the chewiness of sweetish fish, a little chewier than that. Normal Jolly Ranchers are *NOT* like this at all. They kind of have this "give" to them. They don't even quite taste the same. The normal ones are a huge burst of flavor. Something is definitely off about this 5lb bag of Jolly Ranchers candies. Someone who eats these all the time, who's had them from Hershey World, I know the difference! I'm pretty disappointed right now, I paid for a 5lb bag of Jolly Ranchers gummies. This feels like a knockoff. Yet, it has the official Hershey info on the label. But, this definitely isn't right. They have a consumer hotline number and I think I'm going to give them a call. Maybe these bulk bags are made using a different or cheaper method. I can't say I would recommend these to anyone, because this is not the right thing.
