I just inventoried the 5 Optimus H-4110 dish heaters I've purchased from Amazon over the past 24 months. 1 died within Amazon's 30 day return period, and was replaced by Amazon. The replacement still works. 1 died 3 days after the end of the return period. It's being returned anyway at my expense for a partial refund. 3 died at varying times from 3 months to a year and were deemed too expensive to return to Optimus under warranty. Failures were determined to be in the ceramic heating coils, making them unrepairable. Bottom line: these are fine little heaters while they work, but that simply won't be very long at all.
