At first you may think this is the best coffee machine you've ever owned as I did. That won't last long. At almost $300, I expected to get more use out of it. You'll need to clean it out at least once a week which is no big deal, but you can only clean it out so much. You cannot get to places where the burr mill grinder is so grinds build up and eventually will gather around the shoot slowing down the grinder so you get less coffee in the basket. It is the worst thing that you want to hear in the morning and you do hear the grinder slow way down! Now, they did troubleshoot with me and sent out a replacement right away, but now even that one has made its first weak pot after 4 uses. They said its because I use dark roasted beans. Oh, well excuse me! Mine was not even 6 months old before starting this behavior. If you can afford to replace it every 6 months then this is the machine for you!
