I purchased it based on an article I read on CNBC. I was completely fooled by the glowing reviews. I don't like it for the following reasons: 1. It requires internet connection and login each time you want to use the toy/device or any of the apps. 2. You can't pick a starting point or difficulty level for your child. 3. You can't turn off or shorten the animations after each task/play. After you place the letter in the slot, you must wait for the same, boring, long animation to complete. 4. Tracing the letter requires lifting the finger multiple times at wrong places. Let me explain, the letter L was presented as a picture made of ice cubes. There were 4 ice cubes along the vertical line of the letter L. Now, tracing this line requires you stop at each ice cube, watch it melt, lift your finger and then move to the next ice cube.
