My cat was on this food for less than 2 days and developed a urethral obstruction. I had mixed his old food with this one the first day, and the second day was only Acana. His bladder swelled to four times the size it should have been by the time the vet ER staff could see him. It happened so immediately after transitioning his food that there is no denying the causative relationship. His food was the only variable in his life that changed leading up to this. He's two and a half years old, and he'd been on the same (other) food his entire life since I adopted him off the street as a kitten. A small fortune in ER vet bills later, and he is doing okay, but purchasing this food because it was $10 cheaper than the other food I had him on was a very costly mistake that I will never make again.
