Perfect size, some design issues however
First off, I love the size of this tray. The dimensions are exactly as given in the description. As you can see in the photo, the tray is precisely the size of a full-size keyboard and oversized mousepad. This tray may be a sleeper hit for gamers with a little marketing. My one complaint however is a big one and is about durability. The tray is well attached to the the sliding rails and the desk clamps are very well made, but the clamps are VERY poorly attached to the sliding rails that hold the tray. There are only four tiny screws that attach the clamps to the rails, and one of those is shown in the second picture. I've used the tray for only a few days and one of these small screws has already wiggled loose and fallen out of the clamp. You can see some marks on the screw from where it ripped out of the rails, at best in only goes about 3/4 of a turn into the rail to begin with. I noticed this on the third day of use when the tray started wiggling when sliding rather than moving smoothly. Because the rails are attached to the clamps from the side rather than from the bottom with some sort of metal brace, the entire weight of the tray is held up by these four itty bitty screws, one of which is now missing. I'm honestly torn about keeping the tray because while I love the size and overall design, I really don't feel like the tray is going to last me very long at all without needing more modifications than the price warrants.
Edit: Well now one entire side has come loose. Like some other reviewer before me, I'm going to order some longer screws and see how that turns out. Since screws are cheap but shipping is not, I've ordered four each of M4x8, M4x10, and M4x12 machine screws. My concern with the longer sizes is that they will scrape the inside of the sliding rail and make it harder to move, so I'll update this review once I know which size works best.
Edit 2: For those curious, your best bet is M4x8 screws. That extra 2mm makes it so the tray actually stays attached to the clamps. Unfortunately it is also just enough extra to keep the tray from reliably sliding all the way in and out unless you have them at an exact tightness. My advice to the manufacturer? Keep the size and redesign the entire mechanism. I'd have the rails and the clamps be a solid piece, then have brackets off the sides of the rails (so beneath and supporting the tray) to secure the tray to the rails. The only reason I'd buy this again is if it was still the only tray of this size on Amazon, otherwise it wouldn't be hard to have a better design.
