On the product ad, it clearly states that "Lock Lines. The Bosch GLL 30 was designed with a manual mode that allows the user to lock the cross-line with just the tilt of the tool, so the operator can use the tool at any angle.". However, there is no such mode of operation. If you tilt the device, it starts blinking and never stops - which is very disconcerting if you are working at an angle. This product description is very misleading in this sense.
