We got this umbrella to place in our pool (there is a hole in the steps on the shallow end designed for an umbrella) and it looks perfect and provides some much needed shade. The blue and white stripes look great too! The problem is that when I took it out of the plastic wrap it came in, the piece that the round ball is supposed to screw into had broken off the top. I'm going to try to contact the company to get a replacement top piece (that isn't broken). EDITED: I tried to contact the company and never heard back (only able to "provide feedback" to company, not contact them directly. We are going to need to return this for a brand new one that hopefully isn't broken!
