Possible knock offs.
Item did not appear genuine, although in semi decent used condition. The connector for the dock hadn't been cleaned prior to resale, visible gunk in connector. Serial sticker had been removed and residue wiped off (not something from normal usage). Weight was different from a genuine dock purchased from Nintendo, as was some of the plastic different. Returned, as one doesn't want to risk a device on a bogus charging dock.
