Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

The description says "No assembly required ready-to-hang", but I received a frame with all the mounting hardware in a plastic bag that I had to attach on my own. My impression based on previous purchases of frames from this company is that they have changed suppliers. Looks like they used a higher quality product to hit #1 on the amazon list, then switched to a cheaper and worse supplier to improve their margins. The mounting is no longer anything like the top reviews you see on the product page. My photo shows the comparison. The top frame in my photo shows what the system looks like after I assembled it. Assembly is not difficult, but the metal hooks that clamp onto the backing are loose enough to slide up and down the backing. The first time I tried to hang the frame, it slipped all the way to the end of the cardboard. The bottom frame in my photo shows what an older frame from this company looked like. You can see that the mounting hardware is similar to what you see in other customer reviews from 2015, that is, the two metal bars are already integrated into the frame so that it is actually "ready-to-hang". This problem is true for both the black and white editions of this frame, buyer beware!
