I purchased the Mini Lux because I only cook for one. So far, this product has been a major disappointment. I tried the rice setting and had to put it through another round before it was cooked and even then the rice was still on the hard side. Then I tried the slow cooker to make pulled pork. The port shoulder was only about 2.5 lbs. I initially started with 4 hours and after checking, it was like it never cooked at all. I put it in for another 4 hours and again, was not close to being done. I then put it in for another 6 hours and it was cooked enough to pull apart but not cooked enough to the point of shredding easily. My kitchen is very small and I was so looking forward to donating my crock pot and pressure cooker. Glad I didn't. I would have returned it but I had it for a while before even using. The idea of a multi-cooker is a great one but only if it does the job for which it was intended.
