The brush works but not the handle
The brush is fairly effective at removing hair. As others have mentioned, the squeegee part does the removal work while the brush fluffs the rug up. However, the collapsible handle is made of beer-can grade aluminum and split at the joint after 10 minutes of use. I replaced it with a spare wooden handle.
