This product is by far the worst lock I have used. I have experience with Schlage and August, both of which are far better. As other reviewers have pointed out, the lock is extremely sensitive to the positioning on the door and the tightness of the screws securing it. It also does not seem to know when it works and when it does not. 60% of the time, we receive a message that says, "can't lock the deadbolt," and about half of those times the deadbolt actually is locked. I have re-installed it 3 times, and I still get the same issues. Each time, it takes no pressure at all to unlock the door from the inside, so it is not the bolt dragging on the cover plate.Even when it does work, the time it takes for the screen to activate and for it to process the code and unlock is extremely excessive. It takes 30-45 seconds to open the door. This is completely unacceptable for security reasons. Zero stars is more appropriate.
