Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I don’t normally write reviews for food products but this was bad enough to justify a couple sentences. I typically like most meat alternatives but this was genuinely awful. I had high hopes based off the reviews, but the taste was indescribably funky. The initial bite isn’t horribly offensive but the aftertaste was off putting. The smell in the packaging was fine, but while cooking it was vile. The texture was mushy. I haven’t been plant based for very long so I can say with confidence this tastes nothing like bacon, and personally it isn’t even an acceptable alternative how turkey bacon was at one point a fair trade off for me.
