I received my SodaStream as a gift. As a result, I do not have a receipt. I emailed SodaStream Customer Support explaining the situation and asked if I was still eligible for the rebate for the Carbonator cartridge. I received a blunt email response stating I am not eligible if I don't have the receipt. What a great way to greet a potential new customer! SodaStream is an example of Corporate Greed at its finest. But hey they got to save a few bucks by weaseling out of a rebate. So I did a little research and look what I found! A far more cost-effective way to refill your Carbonator bottles. Do a google search for co2doctor or sodastream refill alternatives. So SodaStream saved a few bucks but lost big time in the long run. I would never have investigated and found this solution if they hadn't treated me with such disrespect.
