Thought I did my research, unfortunately I read all the one star reviews after my big letdown. Installing flooring in my house, the straps on my old knee pads were rubbing my skin raw behind my knees giving me bruises. I am wearing shorts so I thought a sleeve type pad would alleviate the pressure points. So I did my research (I thought…) and purchased these knee pads. They arrived in one day, Thanks Amazon, I wore them the following day. They felt great, no more rubbing, I thought WOW, these are perfect, I should have got something like this long ago. I wore them about 5 hours that day and when I took them off I noticed the center pad was completely compressed. Like the others stated, the padding broke down after less than one days use. These are probable good to use as protection from bumps but not as padding to use when kneeling. Really disappointed.
