Updated review: I was having really terrible problems with hissing and feedback with this system. After leaving a negative review, I was contacted by the manufacturer with the explanation that the Xvive does NOT work with active pickups (pickups that have a preamp and battery). Apparently it only works with passive pickups. The Amazon listing does not say this anywhere in the description or specifications. So if your instrument has an active pickup, look elsewhere.
