Pros -- incredibly fast. Can scan almost any size of photo in light speed. Restoration is pretty good but, could use some improvement on older photos (changes blues to green as an example). Love that it is wireless but, you would still need to be in close proximity to your computer so you could name files and such. Cons - After consulting with Epson Customer Service to verify my frustration the following are flaws that will force me to return this. 1. You cannot individually change the name of the photo as you can with most other types of software. You would have to indiviually give it a name prior to scanning. Example -- you have 100 photos for a specific event - say a BDay. I could scan them all in under that event including the date. But, if two of the pictures were relatives that I wanted to name in a picture I would have to catch that ahead of time and create a sub folder of the main folder. Way too time consuming especially if you have a lot of pictures. The hole point is to be able to scan fast with minimal prework and ahve the flexiable to rename if need be. 2. You CANNOT organize your photos after they have been scanned. So, if you have 20 photos and you want to move photo 5 to spot 20 - you cannot. 3. You cannot upload to another source other than DropBox or Google Photos. No capability to upload pictures anywhere else. 4. You cannot copy a picture directly from the scanned photo. You can however email it and if you're so inclined you could save that to your desk top or another folder and rename it and save it. HUMM --- 1500 + photos - i'm not doing it. 5. Minor - you cannot delete from the Edit menu. You also can not delete from a key stroke. You have to use their trash can and then hit enter. No short cut like using your delete key on your keyboard I'm giving it one star due to the fact that the software is not completely interactive and in MHO archaic. So, can I recommend this product -- only if my frustions wouldn't bother you. It is fast ---- Way too expenisve for this level of frustration.
