The package arrived on time, which is the only positive thing I can say. I ordered Large River Rocks to use in a bowl meant to be a water source for bees in my yard. Since they are advertised as good in aquariums, I didn't question their toxicity. I cleaned the rocks with water, put them in the bowl with water, and noticed they became slimy and had a strange smell. They also left a thin film on my hands. I went back and read the package label and it shows they are Made in China (which was not mentioned in the seller's description) and has this exact warning on the back: WARNING! This product and its packaging contains a chemical known to the Stateof California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. It was written exactly like that. The "Stateof California" was not my mistake. It actually reads like that. Red flag!) The label also states, "Please wash your hands after handling" The label also cautions the consumer "ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES" This is obviously not a chemical I want bees to ingest and spread, let alone birds or other animals. I don't even want them in my house or yard because my daughter in law is pregnant. I am throwing them away, as I do not want to handle and the rocks and re-package them. Yes, they were pretty rocks with a natural smooth appearance, but the polish is clearly hazardous. I am shocked no one has mentioned this before. I have never written a negative review in my life, even when I didn't like something, but I don't think it is morally right to not warn people.
