I bought this ice maker for our game room/bar this past weekend; had it for less than a week. The unpacking/set up was easy. Initially, I think it was making ice just fine, but then I realized that it would stop making ice, but the bucket was not filled. The sensors were giving a false reading, so it stopped making ice. I noticed that the "flap" that pushes the ice into the basket wasn't pushing the ice far enough into the basket and the ice was getting stuck; so, the sensors would read it as being full. I was ending up with a half basket of ice with the last pieces of ice stuck at the top where the sensors are. In the pictures, you can see the sensors on either side and the piece of ice all the way to the right is blocking the sensor. If the flap would push the ice further into the bucket this wouldn't be a problem. I'll be sending this ice maker back, and trying a different brand. If anyone has a fix for this so I don't have to return it, I would really appreciate it. With all that said, it makes ice very quick; within 8 minutes.
