Great little unit, lightweight, etc. You will see it's lighter weight than their competitors, and that's for a good reason... batteries have a pretty specific set weight based on capacity and the case just adds a little extra. In this case, they way overexaggerated the size of the battery. I tested multiple devices, but will use one specific test as an example: The Pixel 5 has a 4,080 battery, which means with a little bit of included waste (which always happens due to the additional electronic components involved), that this 5000 battery should take my phone from 0 to 100 with some to spare. However in reality, It can only charge about 35-40% of the Pixel battery before the USB charger is out of juice. If you buy a unit with actually 5000 capacity it WILL be heavier because it has more battery in it... For example I have a 9750 capacity unit (that actually will pull almost exactly that), which means it should have roughly 2 times the capacity but is 4.2 TIMES HEAVIER. I would guess the actual manufacture rated capacity (the one that actually manufactures the battery inside of this unit) is about 1800-2200, no where near the 5000 this seller states. Again, I tested numerous devices with similar results. Now before the drama starts or someone thinks they can get overly technical, yes there is a buffer when comparing maximum theoretical battery capacity and actually usable capacity based on the battery cell rating. However, this is typically in a 5% range MAX, and this battery can only do about 40% of the rated capacity. So in short, it's light because they went cheap and exaggerated the actual capacity. Quality is good, value is ok, but someone outright lied on the specs. *** Edit *** I have also reproduced the tests with a battery testing tool to show the capacity of the battery is only 1944 of the 5000 they claim. They second me a second unit, which was better, bust still way shy of the 5000 they claim.
