We live in our rv fulltime & we keep our valuables & emergency cash in a floor safe. When another rv close to us in the desert north of Yuma, AZ just burned to the ground last week I realized our floor safe is burglar proof, but NOT FIRE PROOF. So I bought this Roloway fireproof bag to keep our valuables safe inside our floor safe. But I don't trust my valuables & cash to someone else's claims so I decided to test one of the 2 pack envelopes that came. I built a campfire that measured over 1000 deg with my digital temp gauge & put the fire proof bag inside the floor safe that I retrieved from the burned out rv nearby. I set the safe in the campfire for 10 minutes, but after only 5 minutes I could see smoke & flames coming thru the door seams of the safe, indicating something was burning inside. After 10 minutes, I removed the safe from the fire & the pictures say it all. The seams of the bag melted, the bag opened up & the 10 sheets of paper, folded over twice, were burned to ash. From my test, I feel the claims of Roloway, that the bag will withstand up to 2000 deg in a fire are a complete lie. DO NOT BUY THIS BAG IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR VALUABLES. The heat & flames in my test were just like you would have in a house or rv fire, except those fires would last even longer than the 10 minute test I performed.
