Enough of the Trump Obsession
I get it. Stephen King hates Donald Trump and wishes a Dem was in the White House. Do we have to hear about it constantly in his stories? I read to escape the real world, not to have King all the sudden decide he’s going to start jamming his politics down my throat. I read The Institute which was King’s book before this and although he made I think maybe a brief reference to Trump, it wasn’t nonstop like this book. It just really takes away from the stories and doesn’t add anything. Please Mr, King, you are a talented writer and 11-22-63 shows us your still a master of your craft in your later years, don’t let politics muddle your writing moving forward. If you really want the world to know about your hatred of Trump, feel free to post until your heart is content on Twitter, but for the love of good leave it out of your works that fans pay good money to enjoy.
