Buyer Beware
On the very first day of use, within an hour or two, my dog was able to bend a couple bars and knocked two completely loose off the frame. I am extremely disappointed because these crates are advertised as "heavy duty" and "virtually indestructible and perfect for housing nervous, aggressive, or destructive pets." I'd say my dog has some separation anxiety but is not aggressive or destructive in any manner. Beyond chewing up one of my son's toys left on the ground he has never ever chewed or damaged anything else, including his previous cheap wire crates. These crates are not built to last a lifetime as they indicate in the description. Either there was a manufacturing issue for the one I got or the item is just plain mis-advertised and misleading. I contacted the seller and they won't stand behind their product and immediately concluded that I must have Cujo for a pet. That they have sold "thousands" without any issue. I call BS on that as there are several folks on here with similar stories. I've purchased hundreds of items from Amazon and this is the first time where I've had to submit a claim or even had to email the seller about an issue. Oh yeah, that excerpt I quoted above regarding "virtually indestructible" and such mysteriously disappeared from the product description after I exchanged several emails with the seller. Vanished into thin air. I guess they knew that was completely false which makes their refusal to make me whole look even worse.
