Inaccurate noise reduction description
The noise reduction rating (NRR) is not 38 dB as falsely advertised on Amazon. It is printed on the packaging as 30 dB. As a reference point, 3 dB is equivalent to a factor of 2 so the 8-dB difference means these plugs allow more than 4x the amount of noise than they are advertised.
