These worked great at first. They were a bit tight upon initial use even at the largest setting. I do not have an overly large head but noticed them becoming more loose and comfortable after about a weeks worth of use. Thought that they just needed to be broken in and that's why they were too tight and now they would be great and comfortable. I was wrong. The reason why they were loosening up was that they were slowly breaking. After about 3 weeks worth of normal use (average of 2 hours per day) The right side that holds the earphones onto the headband completely cracked and broke. I really liked these headphones as they sounded great connected to my computer but the plastic is just not made well enough to hold up if you have an average American sized head. Perhaps they were made for customers in other countries that are on the smaller side. It is possible that I just got a defective product and would love to give these another chance but I can't return it at this point and don't want to spend more money if it is just going to happen again.
