I really wanted to like this laundry detergent and was impressed by all the great reviews, but I am not a fan. It is great that it is non toxic and free from harsh chemicals (A on EWG) but it doesn’t get my laundry clean. White socks come out with the “feet marks” still on them and hand towels are dingy and have dark marks. Definitely does not get stains out. The customer service was great when I emailed them a few times to get help. They responded both times within a few hours, but the suggestions they had (basically to buy MORE charlies soap products) didn’t help. I bought the hard water booster and also the powdered oxygen bleach at their suggestion and still don’t have clean laundry. They suggested to soak my clothes overnight, but I just don’t have the time or energy to do that. As a mom of three kids that does 2 loads of laundry a day I can’t soak every load of laundry. I switched back to tide powder and the socks came out clean and towels were spotless. I don’t love the chemicals so will keep looking, but charlies is just not for me. Unfortunately.
