Absolutely love the books. Here, they have made foundational changes to the point that this is not wheel of time, it's a skin suit or a fan fiction written by people who aren't fans. They've made the boys cowardly and useless and only the women are allowed to be strong in the show. Perrin kills his wife?!(He's not supposed to have one, and then he leaves his AXE?!). The main characters are aged up, which messes up the relationships.. Thom Merrillin not being in Emond's Field makes him feel simply tacked on. Moraine's not supposed to be a lesbian.. they skipped Min, Elayne, Gawyn, Galad, and Elaida in exchange for Tar Valon, which makes yet more problems for Mat and the cursed dagger.. This is just the tip of the iceberg. The changes don't even make for a stronger show but a worse story. They have done such a disservice connecting this garbage with the book series in any way if people think the books are like this mess. This is, just.. painfully bad. The writers clearly aren't fans of the books and have obvious contempt for the source material. To think I was looking forward to the show, shame on me for ignoring the warning signs. Just another example of Evil, woke, far left politics tainting every single thing it touches. These changes are malicious. How dare they?
