★★☆☆☆
Kind of like Harry Potter Monopoly
My headline is the best analogy I can offer. The game itself is OK and has a fair mix of strategy and luck. Quality of the pieces and documentation is high. However, despite it's name, it's not a game about the National Parks. The National Parks have nothing to do with how you play. It's also about as informative about the National Parks as reading a post card about them (basically the park cards in the game are a single post card about the park). So, if you buy this, forget the National Parks aspect and buy it based on the game play alone. I'd be OK with all of this if it were not for the price. This is a $10 game in terms of it's uniqueness and play that costs 5x that much. If you've played any of the Ticket to Ride games, you've played this already just like if you've played Monopoly, you've played Harry Potter Monopoly with just different names on the cards, board, and pieces.
