I will first start by saying that the fountain is very attractive and I really liked the water flowing noise it produces. The LED lights are also a very nice feature. However, the quality of the manufacturing/assembly process seems to be a problem. When I received the fountain, I inspected it carefully since a number of other Amazon reviews mentioned issues with leaking. Initially I did not find anything wrong with the fountain. So I proceeded to hook up the pump and the LED lights and fill the fountain with water. I ran the pump for a couple of hours and I did not observe any leaks - just some normally wetness on the ground due to water splashing. However, the next day when I looked again at the fountain, I saw a long hairline crack had formed overnight. It is pretty noticeable as you can see in the attached photos. When I used a flashlight to check inside the fountain, it looks like this is manufactured as two separate pieces (possibly even more) which are then bonded together with some type of adhesive. In my case, the adhesive was insufficient to prevent a hairline crack from forming along the seam. The crack does not cause water to leak from the fountain since it is above the waterline. However, I am exchanging this one for another one of the same and hoping the replacement does not have the same issue. If you are planning to purchase this fountain, I suggest you inspect it carefully upon unboxing, and once again after using it for a couple of times to see if any cracks have developed.
