Durable? Yes. Easy to clean? Yes. Easy to install? Yes. Efficient? Ummmm. No. After two months of use, I decided to wash the filter to gauge its efficiency. I filled the bathtub with warm water, added a little household soap, and submerged the filter. I lifted and submerged several times to work the water through the screen. I fully expected the water to become dark with dirt. Nope. Nothing. MAYBE a hint of discoloration, but nowhere near what a regular filter would collect.
